Christina Swigart, M.S., L.N.
I have been in the field of nutrition since 2001 and am licensed by the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice. I received a B.S. in biology from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN and a M.S. in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. For eight years I was trained by, and worked under, a leading nutritionist in St. Paul, MN, before starting my own practice.
Through my years in this field I have had a great deal of experience working one-on-one with many people or with families experiencing a wide variety of health issues. I have also been a sought-after speaker for a number of years by local businesses and law firms, fertility and midwifery conferences, the Metropolitan Airports Commission, churches, schools, mom’s groups, college and high school athletic programs, and teacher workshops. I have also spent about three years bringing sound nutritional information to a large listening audience as a regular co-host on a popular live weekend call-in radio show on FM107.1.
Keeping up on current research and nutritional advances is very important to me. Throughout the year I spend time continuing my education by attending high-level nutrition conferences and seminars.
Seeing people take charge of their health and be successful with each step they take is why I love what I do. I believe each person I sit down with and each person I speak to at a conference or seminar has the power to make positive changes that will benefit them for a lifetime.
